Using Clipart in Microsoft Word

1.   Open word

2.   Go to insert

3.   Picture

4.   choose Clipart

5.   a window on the right side will appear

6.   in the search, type in what you are looking for (be sure the pull down menus are on All collection and All media file types)

7.   the pictures will appear

8.   click once on the picture to add it to the document

 

Changing the way the picture interacts with your document

1.   double-click on the picture

2.   click the layout tab

3.   click square to have the text wrap around the picture like in a newspaper

4.   click hold and drag on the picture to move it

 

To get a picture from google

1.   go to google

2.   search for what you want

3.   click images

4.   click the image you want

5.   right click on the image

6.   go to copy image

7.   go back to word

8.   click where you want it to go

9.   click edit--->paste

10.                     done

 

Add your own picture from your computer

1.   in word go to insert

2.   choose picture

3.   from file

4.   locate the picture and click OK

 

Use the above skills to create a greeting card or a festive letter.

 

Or you can also send an electronic greeting card and personalize it with your face and any other famous face.

1.   go to www.elfyourself.com

2.   click upload photo

3.   choose the photo you want to elf

4.   move the picture around in the face by clicking on the picture and dragging

5.   resize the face by zooming or rotating the image

6.   click done

7.   upload another using the same instructions for up to 5 total elfs

8.   click done and choose a dance to have your elves do

9.   once you have choosen the dance you want click email and fill out the form

10.                     don't forget to include my email in the to, I would love to see it

***be creative add yourself with Fred Astaire, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Obama, have fun with it
