Deleting a File
a)Drag the document to the trash on the dock or on your desktop
b)Select or click on the file -> go to the "file" menu -> choose "move to trash"

Deleting more than one file at a time
--If grouped together, Click on the first file-> hold "shift"->click on the last file and all the files in between will be highlighted/selected (then delete or move the files)
--If the files are scattered throughout documents hold the "apple key/command key" and click on each of the files to highlight/select them (then delete or move the files)

View files in a window as a list, columns, icons
1. Go to the "view" menu
2. Choose the style/view you want

Organize the files in the list view by alphabetical or chronological order
1. First be sure you are on the list view
2. Click on the associated heading on top to organize it by name or date

Create a new folder
1)Go to the "file" menu and choose new folder
2)The new "untitled folder" appears
3)Type in a name for the folder
4)Push return to keep the name
(now begin dragging files to the newly created folder)

Rename a file or folder
1) click once on the file
2) wait a few seconds
3) click on the name of the file
4) type in the new name and press return

My Computer is slow what can I do
-Make sure all the programs you are not using are closed/quit (go to the dock and any icons with a white dot or black triangle -> click hold down and when the message appears choose "quit")
-Or upgrade your computer's memory
