Changing the line spacing in Microsoft Word

1.     Create your document

2.     Select ALL the text (ctrl + A)

3.     Right click on the text to open up the menu

4.     Choose "paragraph"

5.     Change the line spacing to single and extra space at the end and beginning of the paragraph to 0

6.     Click OK

***If you want these settings to be used EVERYTIME you open a word document, you can click default in the paragraph attributes window before clicking okay before step 6 above***

Changing the size of the Desktop Icons (Windows XP)

1.     Right click on the desktop picture

2.     Choose Properties

3.     Click the Appearance Tab

4.     Click the Effects Button

5.     Remove or Select Use Large Icons

6.     Click OK

Changing the size of the Desktop Icons (Windows 7)

1.     Right Click on the desktop picture

2.     In the menu, go to View

3.     Choose the size of the icons you want

Printer problems?

Step 1. Go to the manufacture's website and download the newest Drivers/Software

How can I check to see what version of Windows it is I am using?

1.     Right click on my computer or open the start and right click on computer

2.     Choose properties and a window will appear with the information
