Shopping online 10-2-12

Shopping for the holidays

Gift cards (sent via snail mail or you can print them)/e-certificates (sent via email) are a great idea

Amazon (above the search bar)

Ebay (scroll down to the bottom left)

Google Play – Android Devices (bottom of the screen)

iTunes

Online Shopping is great to compare prices

In class we found ink for $65 on Amazon and the same ink for $102 at Staples

Difference of $37!

Price compare yourself by using Tabs to jump between different retailers. (Open the internet and hold ctrl/cmd and tap "T", then type in the website you want to view)

Google also has a pricing search engine (important have the exact model number)

On the chart, click the heading of the column to organize the results by specifics like "total price"

Miles are available with your frequent flyer programs, look at their website for affiliate programs with retailers. It is a great way to keep your frequent flyer miles active without having to take a trip.

Upromise.com will save a portion of every dollar and distribute it to a specific individual with a college 529 savings plan.
