Backup your computer
TimeMachine - Macintosh Computers running OS 10.6 or newer
Comes preinstalled with the operating system.
1)Purchase an external Hard Drive and Connect it to the computer (about $70 - $100 from an office store, 2.5" or 3.5")
2)Plug in the hard drive to your USB port
3)Open Time Machine -> go to the apple (top left) -> choose "system preferences"
4)Open Time Machine
5)Click Choose/Select Disk
6)Backups will perform automatically, daily

Online Backup, using paid services like Carbonite.com (must have OS 10.6 or newer) $60 per year

Backup Quicken to a Flash Drive 1. Insert the flash drive into the computer 2. Wait for the computer to detect the drive (a window displaying the contents of the flash drive may open) – Drive is identified by the letter E: or F: etc. 3. Open Quicken 4.
