Web Browser - an application/software opened to translate the code retrieved from the internet, examples Apple Safari (default), Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox

ISP (Internet Service Provider) - Service providing you with Internet access, example SFTInternet, Comcast, ATT/Verizon/Tmobile

What is Google? Advertising Company that is used widely as a search engine (google.com), video content provider (youtube.com)

Google creates many online services to organize content.
news.google.com
maps.google.com
shopping.google.com

Domain/URL/Website - website ex. google.com or yahoo.com

Subdomain - is a prefix before the domain separated by a period ex. maps.google.com or maps.yahoo.com

Downloading an alternate browser
1) Go to firefox.com or chrome.google.com
2) Click Download

Locate the newly downloaded file
Go to the Finder
Click the Go menu
Choose Download

Organize the files by date to find the most recently downloaded file
Click on the stack of lines to change the view to the details view
Click on the date to organize all the files by date

Install the newly downloaded app
Double click on the icon
Drag the icon into the applications folder on the right

Open the application and confirm that it is allowed because it is from the internet

Add the icon to the dock
Click and hold on the icon of the open application
Go to options
Choose Keep in dock

Use the address bar, tabs, and the bookmarks
