Airplane mode
Turns off all connections to the Internet

Swipe from the bottom bezel up to open the control panel
Tap the airplane icon to turn off or on airplane

Check if you are connected to the Internet
Look at the icons on the top left of the screen

Search for an app
Swipe down on the screen
Type in what you are looking for

News app
Customize the different sources/feeds

Tap explore on the bottom to customize your sources

Tap news for you to see your feed

Share the information/article by tapping the arrow pointing up in the top right

Tap the bookmark to save the article in your saved article list found on the bottom right

Update your device
Go to settings
General
Software update
Download and install
YOU MUST KNOW YOUR APPLE ID and don't add a passcode if you don't have one

Use notes to go paperless
Tap the squiggles to write in the note
Or the camera to take a photo to add to the note

Backup Quicken to a Flash Drive 1. Insert the flash drive into the computer 2. Wait for the computer to detect the drive (a window displaying the contents of the flash drive may open) – Drive is identified by the letter E: or F: etc. 3. Open Quicken 4. Go to the “file” menu and choose “backup” 5. A window displaying the path of where the backup will be saved will appear The path should be to the E: or identifying letter of the flash drive 6. If not…you need to direct quicken to where to save the backup 7. Click “browse” 8. Find and click on “my computer” 9.
