By
Moving the Taskbar (bar with the start, time, icons)
1. Click hold and drag on the colored area of the taskbar and drag it to where you want

Unlock/Lock the taskbar
Right Click on the taskbar
Choose Lock Taskbar

Organize the icons on the desktop
1. Right Click
2. Choose View
3. Choose Auto Arrange Icons

Hide the Desktop icons
1. Right Click
2. Choose View
3. Choose Hide Desktop Icons

Pin an application to the taskbar
1. Open the Application
2. Right Click on the icon on the taskbar
3. Choose Pin to Taskbar

Remove an application from the taskbar
1. Right click on the icon and choose unpin

Check your hard drive's health
use Crystal Disk
1. http://crystalmark.info/download/index-e.html
2. CystalDiskInfo 6.7.5
3. Follow the standard edition row and CLICK the 3.7 MB under the installer (exe)
4. Wait for the file to download
5. Open the downloaded file to start the installation
6. Click Yes to any windows warning
7. follow the installation steps by clicking agree, next, finish
8. Crystal Disk will open and tell you the status of your hard drive

Click on the first (unpaid) result which should be iobit.com 4. Click the link “download now” 5. The page will change click in the middle “download majorgeeks” 6. Wait for the page to load and you will be prompted to save or run the file you are downloading 7. Click “save” if possible choose the desktop as the location where you want to save the file 8. Backup Quicken to a Flash Drive

Backup Quicken to a Flash Drive 1. Insert the flash drive into the computer 2. Wait for the computer to detect the drive (a window displaying the contents of the flash drive may open) – Drive is identified by the letter E: or F: etc. 3. Open Quicken 4. Go to the “file” menu and choose “backup” 5. A window displaying the path of where the backup will be saved will appear The path should be to the E: or identifying letter of the flash drive 6. If not…you need to direct quicken to where to save the backup 7. Click “browse” 8. Find and click on “my computer” 9. From the list that appears click on the E: or identifying letter of the flash drive 10. Click OK and the window will close displaying the new path for where the backup will be saved 11.
