Free Windows 10 upgrade ends July 29th, 2016

*If you haven't done the upgrade and you are happy with

your computer, don't do it.

*1 month is the time you have to revert back to your

previous version of windows.

///////Start Menu\\\\\\

Managing the windows 10 start menu
Tiles are the squares that are avaiable in the start

menu.

///Tiles\\\

Some might be live tiles, which means that they update

themselves with recent information.

Edit Start Menu Tiles
**When in doubt, Right-Click**
Remove a tile -  Right click and choose remove from

start menu
Resize a tile - Right click and resize
Turn off the Live updating of the Tile - Right Click

and turn off

////Access all Applications\\\\
Applications = Software = Programs = Apps
1.Open the start menu
2.Click All Applications (bottom left)

Move an application from the menu to the desktop
Click hold and drag the icon to the desktop

Add an application as a Tile to the Start Menu
Right Click on the Application
Choose Pin to Start

///Windows Search\\\
Click the Start menu
Type in what you are looking for (Document,

Application) in the bottom left bar

///Task View\\\
Displays all the open windows at once

///Managing Computer Resources, Memory & Processing

Power\\\
Close any open applications
Look for the blue underline on the taskbar
Right Click on the icon
Choose Close

///Add an Application to the taskbar\\\
Open the Start menu
Find the Application to add
Right Click on the application
Pin to Taskbar
