Internet Searching

Always double check the information returned when searching on the web
ex. on google search
  1. what is the sf tax = 8.75%
  2. what is the tax rate in san francisco = 8.5%

When searching use specific keywords to narrow results or use
- (minus) to eliminate a topic
" " (Quotes) to look up a phrase
*  (asterisk) to include a blank space for a word

Search for images. 

Save an image from the internet
-iOS
Press and hold on the photo
Choose Save Image
-PC
Right Click on the Photo
Choose Save Image
-Mac
Hold Control and Click on the image
Choose Save Image

Use Google to answer your questions
search Violinist Netherlands, the results return the artist André Rieu

It's all about how you want the information

Backup Quicken to a Flash Drive 1. Insert the flash drive into the computer 2. Wait for the computer to detect the drive (a window displaying the contents of the flash drive may open) – Drive is identified by the letter E: or F: etc. 3. Open Quicken 4. Go to the “file” menu and choose “backup” 5. A window displaying the path of where the backup will be saved will appear The path should be to the E: or identifying letter of the flash drive 6. If not…you need to direct quicken to where to save the backup 7. Click “browse” 8. Find and click on “my computer” 9.
