Connecting to WiFi

  1. Go to settings
  2. Push wifi
  3. Choose the wifi connection to connect too


What is the difference between 5 and regular/2.4

2.4 or regular has a stronger more reliable signal but is slower

5 has a signal that is not as strong but the speed is faster


How can I forget a wifi network that I accidentally connected to that my device jumps to.

  1. Open wifi in settings
  2. Find the name of the connection you want to remove/forget
  3. Tap the i
  4. Choose "forget this network"

  1. Hold down the power button
  2. Press the round home button

Updating your operating system is okay just be sure you know your Apple ID password and when the update completes choose more options below to avoid enrolling in a service from apple you don't need.


What is 2 factor authentication?

When you access your Apple ID account you will be prompted to enter your password 

AND 

another device will receive a notice that someone is trying to access the account and that you need to allow and enter a 6 digit confirmation on the device.


Turn off 2 factor authentication

1.visit apple, appleid.apple.com

2.login

3.search for turn off 2 factor authentication and follow the steps


How can I control the blue cursor?

Hold down on the screen over the text to get a magnifier with the blue cursor inside.

Release your finger when the cursor is where you want it.


What can I use to type a letter on my device?

Notes is Free

Or Pages if you already have it or want to buy it for $20


How can I check what I have?

Search for the app

Pull down from the middle of the screen

Type in what you are looking for



How do I print or share a note I created?

Tap the arrow pointing up, out of the box
