iOS Notes 4-10-18

 Today I'm going to try to type out my entire notes with out using the keyboard and only my voice.


The topic today is related to how iPads and iPhones can replace computers.


And example would be getting a keyboard built into the case and attaching it to the iPad to make it have all the functionality of a computer.


If you have an iPhone a stylus is the best way to import text or don't forget the very important speech to text accessed by pushing the microphone on the keyboard.


Calendar App

Tips. Press and hold on the time and date to create the event. 

Hold down on the created event to get the dots to change the times.

Use voice activated calling, "hey Siri, call towers security"

Go to settings and Siri to activate "Hey Siri"

Setup a contact named Towers Security with the related phone number.

Done, you now have voice activated calling

Backup Quicken to a Flash Drive 1. Insert the flash drive into the computer 2. Wait for the computer to detect the drive (a window displaying the contents of the flash drive may open) – Drive is identified by the letter E: or F: etc. 3. Open Quicken 4. Go to the “file” menu and choose “backup” 5. A window displaying the path of where the backup will be saved will appear The path should be to the E: or identifying letter of the flash drive 6. If not…you need to direct quicken to where to save the backup 7. Click “browse” 8. Find and click on “my computer” 9.
