Troubleshooting 101 - my device is not responding

Step 1. Try to Close or Quit

Step 2. Macintosh Force Quit (Command + Option + ESC) or Windows Task Manager/End Process (CTRL + ALT + DELETE)

Lastly, Step 3. Hold down the power button for 30 seconds to shut down everything and start fresh

Printing photos

You can print to your printer by opening the photo and pressing the arrow pointing up, and then select print. But you need the proper paper, it takes plenty of ink and can be troublesome.

Easier is to print to a local store like Walgreens, Costco, Target. The cost to print a 4x6 photo is less than $.50.

Backup Quicken to a Flash Drive 1. Insert the flash drive into the computer 2. Wait for the computer to detect the drive (a window displaying the contents of the flash drive may open) – Drive is identified by the letter E: or F: etc. 3. Open Quicken 4. Go to the “file” menu and choose “backup” 5. A window displaying the path of where the backup will be saved will appear The path should be to the E: or identifying letter of the flash drive 6. If not…you need to direct quicken to where to save the backup 7. Click “browse” 8. Find and click on “my computer” 9.
