Accessing the SF Public Library

Go to www.sfpl.org (www is not required) sfpl.org





Open a web browser like, Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Brave


Click on the top of the window, type in sfpl.org




Click Sign In on the top right of the window

Type in your library card number and your pin/password

(If you have problems, click the library logo and click Support and Services, choose Chat with Us to get assistance)

Once you've successfully logged in, ask your browser to save your password and login information


Find a book and click it to borrow the book.

Choose Library on Wheels to send it to the bookmobile


To find Digital Media click Books and Media and choose eBooks and then from the choices click Overdrive to access eBook and Audio Books on your Windows computer.

You will be take to sfpl.overdrive.com




Login with the same information as you use for the library

A collection of digital media will be displayed

Click the item you want and then choose borrow


Click the stack of books for the media you have borrowed.


Bookmark your collection on overdrive or drag the website url to the desktop to create a direct link on your desktop to your digital media collection.

Click on the first (unpaid) result which should be iobit.com 4. Click the link “download now” 5. The page will change click in the middle “download majorgeeks” 6. Wait for the page to load and you will be prompted to save or run the file you are downloading 7. Click “save” if possible choose the desktop as the location where you want to save the file 8. Backup Quicken to a Flash Drive

Backup Quicken to a Flash Drive 1. Insert the flash drive into the computer 2. Wait for the computer to detect the drive (a window displaying the contents of the flash drive may open) – Drive is identified by the letter E: or F: etc. 3. Open Quicken 4. Go to the “file” menu and choose “backup” 5. A window displaying the path of where the backup will be saved will appear The path should be to the E: or identifying letter of the flash drive 6. If not…you need to direct quicken to where to save the backup 7. Click “browse” 8. Find and click on “my computer” 9.
