What are bookmarks/favorites?

These are websites or pages saved from the internet.

Click the Star (CMD/CTRL + D) to save a page as a bookmark/favorite, OR Drag the website name/icon to where you want it, i.e. bookmark bar, desktop, dock/taskbar.


How can I remove an application from my Mac?

You can open your applications folder and drag the icon to the trash. (Be sure to empty the trash to remove the application)

OR... Use a Mac application remover, FreeMacSoft, https://freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/. (Be sure to download the correct version that corresponds to your computer OS, Apple Menu->About this Mac)

My emails have been hacked! What do I do? Notify all your contacts, friends and family to ignore the recent email and NOT send you money or respond to the email. This includes someone to send the message on your behalf.  Or create/use a secondary email to send a notification email to your friends/family group or distribution list NOT to send you money or respond to the email. (Be sure to put all the contacts in the BCC and send to groups of no mare than 50 contacts at a time) 1. Contact a Computer Tech to help cleanup and verify your email settings are properly configured, change your password and setup 2 factor authentication 2.
