Add a frequently accessed program to the Quick
Launch/Taskbar (bar always visible on the bottom) for
easy access ***Note: You can also make a quick link to
a folder in your computer. i.e. My Documents***
Windows XP
1. Find the program's icon you want to add to the quick
launch (on the desktop or in the Start menu)
2. Click hold and drag the item to where you want it on
the quick launch
Windows Vista/7
1. Find the program's icon you want to add to the
taskbar (on the desktop or in the Start menu)
2. Right click on the icon and choose "pin to taskbar"
Delete the item from the taskbar/quick launch
1. Right Click on the icon
2. Choose delete
3. Confirm if needed
Creating Quick Access Icons for Office 2007 & 2010 to
print, create a new document, etc.
1. On the very top left you will see a few very small
icons which are part of the quick access toolbar
2. Righ click on any of the icons
3. Choose "customize toolbar
4. A window appears with a list of commands you can add
to the bar
5. Click the command you want to add, and click add in
the middle to add it to the list on the right
6. Click OK, DONE
