Typing on an iOS device

Use the suggestions at the top of the keyboard to help you quickly complete the sentence you want.

If the suggestions don't appear, locate the white bar on the top of the keyboard and pull it up.

Undo a correction the device makes for a word.
Backspace and choose the correct spelling.

Red underline = misspelling 
Tap the word and choose the correct spelling

Changing keyboard settings 
Go to settings 
Tap general 
Choose keyboard 

Text replacement - create a shortcut to autocomplete a phrase
Go to settings 
Tap general 
Choose keyboard
Tap text replacement
Tap the +
Create a phrase and shortcut to type to pull up the phrase (be sure the shortcut isn't a word)

**tip**
Search for a setting
Pull the list on the left down
Type in what you are looking for

Copy and Paste
  1. Select what to copy - tap and hold on text, drag the blue dots to extend selection
  2. Choose copy
  3. Go to where you want the copied text to go, be sure the blinking cursor is there
  4. Hold on the blinking cursor and choose paste

Backup Quicken to a Flash Drive 1. Insert the flash drive into the computer 2. Wait for the computer to detect the drive (a window displaying the contents of the flash drive may open) – Drive is identified by the letter E: or F: etc. 3. Open Quicken 4. Go to the “file” menu and choose “backup” 5. A window displaying the path of where the backup will be saved will appear The path should be to the E: or identifying letter of the flash drive 6. If not…you need to direct quicken to where to save the backup 7. Click “browse” 8. Find and click on “my computer” 9.
