Create a Rule in Macintosh Mail to filter your emails, remove unwanted email from your inbox
Create a New Mailbox to Collect the Emails
1.Go to the Mailbox menu
- Choose New Mailbox
- Choose where the mailbox is to be accessible/saved On My Mac (computer only) or in the related account
- Type in a name for the new mailbox/folder
The new mailbox/folder will appear on the left.
Create the Rule to Filter your emails
- Click the Mail menu
- Choose Preferences
- Click Rules
- Click Add Rule
- Title the Rule
- Choose the criteria to test for the email. Usually the subject contains or from contains is the best choice
- Choose what to do with the email if the above criteria is met, move to the mailbox/folder you created
- Click OK
- Click Apply to have the rule run through your current inbox
Create a filter in Gmail
- Click the sprocket/gear on the top right
- Choose Settings
- Click Filters and Blocked Address
- Create your filter

How can I stop ads from appearing on webpages?
Add an ad blocker add-on/extension
-Firefox-
- Click the three lines on the right
- Choose Add-Ons
- On the top right search bar type in Ad Block
- Install the Ad Block you want
- Restart the Browser
-Chrome-
- Click the three dots on the right
- Choose Settings
- Click Extensions on the left
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and choose Get More Extensions
- On the top left search bar type in Ad Block
- Install the Ad Block you want
- Restart the Browser
-Safari-
- Click the Safari Menu
- Choose Safari Extensions
- Choose and Install the Ad Block you want
- Restart the Browser
