Use the contacts app to communicate with others

Add a contact by pushing the + on the top
Enter the required information
Tap done

To communicate with the contact
1 tap the contact on the list
2 tap the method to connect with the contact, i.e. FaceTime, messaging, email

FaceTime and messaging from an iPAD ONLY works so long as the other contact has an apple device

If you want to video conference with non apple users use Skype.

Using Safari efficiently 
*use the back arrow, top left, to go back to the previous page(s)
*tap the logo of the website to go page to the homepage of the site

Use tabs, on top, to view more than one page at a time
+, push to open a new tab
x to close the tab

Navigate to a new website, type the www on the top white bar or type in what you are searching for and then press go or search on the keyboard

Press the box with the arrow pointing up to:
Print the page
Email the page
Save the page to your home screen
Save the page to your bookmarks

Reader view-removes ads and allows you to increase the font size
*tap the stack of lines to the left of the website address
*tap the aA on the right to increase the font size

Close all open tabs at once
*hold the two squares on the top right
Choose close # tabs

Click on the first (unpaid) result which should be iobit.com 4. Click the link “download now” 5. The page will change click in the middle “download majorgeeks” 6. Wait for the page to load and you will be prompted to save or run the file you are downloading 7. Click “save” if possible choose the desktop as the location where you want to save the file 8. Backup Quicken to a Flash Drive

Backup Quicken to a Flash Drive 1. Insert the flash drive into the computer 2. Wait for the computer to detect the drive (a window displaying the contents of the flash drive may open) – Drive is identified by the letter E: or F: etc. 3. Open Quicken 4. Go to the “file” menu and choose “backup” 5. A window displaying the path of where the backup will be saved will appear The path should be to the E: or identifying letter of the flash drive 6. If not…you need to direct quicken to where to save the backup 7. Click “browse” 8. Find and click on “my computer” 9. From the list that appears click on the E: or identifying letter of the flash drive 10. Click OK and the window will close displaying the new path for where the backup will be saved 11.
