Do I need to worry about how and when I charge my device to improve the life of my battery?
NO, the but you must use the charger that came with the device to ensure it is charging at the recommended amperage. Example iPhone = 1 amp, iPad = 2.5 amp

How can I conserve the power in my battery?
-Turn on airplane mode
-Turn off background applications
1.settings

3. Background app refresh
4. Turn them off
-Lower the brightness of the screen
  1. Open the control panel, swipe up from the bottom of the screen
  2. Slide the brightness bar to adjust the brightness
-Change how and if applications show notifications

2. Notifications

Also close all your safari tabs
1. In safari hold down on he two overlapping squares to reveal how many tabs you have open
2. Choose to close all tabs

Backup Quicken to a Flash Drive 1. Insert the flash drive into the computer 2. Wait for the computer to detect the drive (a window displaying the contents of the flash drive may open) – Drive is identified by the letter E: or F: etc. 3. Open Quicken 4. Go to the “file” menu and choose “backup” 5. A window displaying the path of where the backup will be saved will appear The path should be to the E: or identifying letter of the flash drive 6.
