RESTART THE COMPUTER -Restarting the computer – go to the windows flag in the bottom left corner and choose shutdown or click the power icon -When I shutdown the screen tells me it is updating and it doesn't go away, what do I do? Adobe Elements 13

I have found the disc for installing and the little box that it came in.  A serial number is not anywhere to be found on or in the box, on the sleeve or on the disc.  Opening Adobe Elements and trying to register is TOTALLY INCOMPREHENSIBLE!!  I get nowhere with their easy three step system to redeem the product.  Any suggestions?  Dick

I am considering buying a Dell i3542-3335BK, 4 GB Ram, 500 GB Hard Drive, Windows 7 Home Premium from Amazon.  Will appreciate any comments or suggestions about this purchase.  I have ordered and expect delivery today or tomorrow on a Dell Inspiron Desk Top i3847-5078BK Windows 7 Home, 8 GB Ram, 1TB Hard Drive.  Will be wanting help from you to transfer our data to these machines.
