Turn off the iPad if the device is acting strangely 1. Hold down the power button ( on the top right of the iPad) until you see a slide to power off screen 2. Slide and the device will turn off 3. Press the power button again to turn it on 4. The apple symbol appears, and the screen will return to normal after a few minutes Installing an app on the iPad 1. Open the App Store 2. Tap top charts on the bottom to see a list of suggested apps 3. Choose a category by tapping on all categories on the top left 4. Tap the app you are interested in installing to view more details 5. Notice the rating by the number of stars and the number of reviews it received. 6. Tap free or the $price to download the app 7. Enter your password 8. Wait for the app to download. 9. ------internet at the Towers------- Wifi at the towers is much more reliable. The speed does vary based on the usage at one-time. If the speed is a problem, enrolling for your own Comcast connection will alleviate the slow connection speed. As more residents with Internet related devices move in the speeds will get slower. Especially when they have Internet Televisions. i.e. Google TV, Roku, or Apple TV. (uses large amounts of bandwidth) Bandwidth - Internet speed (www.speedtest.net) traditional telephone modem  56kb/sec 1st generation DSL 1.5mb/sec = 1500kb/sec towers internet  18mb/sec = 18000kb/sec -----My Wifi keeps dropping the signal/internet------- If your WiFi has problems connecting, make sure you are connected to the proper connection. Computers are setup to automatically jump to other signals if your default signal is not found or is strong. Turn off the Wifi by clicking the radio signal icon on the top right. DropBox – File Storage on the Cloud (internet) – 5gb of free storage   1. Visit dropbox.com 2. Click "Sign Up" 3. Enter your information 4. Click "Sign Up" again 5. An installation file will be downloaded, open the installation file and start the installation of Dropbox, Install->Next->etc. 6. Once installation completes, follow the steps and you will be directed to your new dropbox folder in Documents or on the left of an open file window 7. Move documents you want to store on the cloud into that folder 8. They will automatically be uploaded into the cloud for safe keeping     Dropbox also allows you to share files you uploaded into your dropbox 1. Go to dropbox.com 2. Log in 3.
