Macintosh Mail Access your email with the default email program that comes with the Mac Open the stamp with the bird and you will be guided to enter your email and its password to access your email. +The benefit of using Mac Mail is you won't have ads and you won't have to repeatedly login with your password. Change what you see on the screen by clicking the View menu and choosing show mailboxes to see: Inbox, Sent, Draft, Trash, Junk Outbox will appear ONLY when an email is waiting to be sent. If you have the outbox visible, click it to see if there is an email with an error that cannot be sent. Click the email and delete it and send a new email. Macintosh Notes 1-22-19 It's the new year, try using your Calendar on the Computer Open the calendar and click the Day, Week, Month, Year above. Double click on the day and time for when you want to create a new appointment. Type in the Name of the appointment Drag the appointment up or down to change the time. Click on the appointment and then click Delete to remove it The great thing about using the calendar on the computer is that it syncs with your mobile devices. (To Check, Go to System Preferences, iCloud, Calendar should be Checked) You can also print different views of the calendar. File -> Print Change the notifications that appear on the top right of your computer. Go to the Apple Menu Open System Preferences Choose Notifications on the left Find the Application you want to manage the notifications for and make the needed adjustments Note-No Banner=None, Banners=Temporary, Alerts=Stays on until you click it Turn off

Beware of phishing/scam emails Fake emails will be sent saying you've bought something at the Apple store that wasn't you. DON'T tap the link to dispute it.  Tap the name of the sender to confirm it's coming from an Apple email address(@apple.com) Tap, hold and drag any of the links and confirm again it is going to Apple Not sure?
